When you browse a job on supported platforms like LinkedIn or Indeed, the JobAssistAI Chrome Extension automatically extracts the job description. It then securely compares these requirements against your Master Profile to generate a comprehensive Job Match Score, breaking down your strengths and missing skills.

Best Practices for Great Results

  • Maintain a detailed Master Profile. The Job Match Analysis relies entirely on the data you provide in your dashboard.
  • If a score seems surprisingly low, check the "Missing Skills" breakdown—it might highlight a skill you possess but forgot to add to your profile.
  • Use the analysis to decide whether a job is worth spending a Cover Letter credit on.

  • Do not enter PII (Personally Identifiable Information) data in the Job description if manually overriding, as that is used by the AI model.
