1. Acceptance of Terms

Please read these terms carefully before using our services. By accessing or using the Platform, installing the Chrome extension, or registering an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, you may not access the Platform or use our AI services.

2. General Service

JobAssistAI provides AI-powered career tools including, but not limited to, Resume Building, Cover Letter Generation, and Job Market Analysis. These services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we work to keep the Platform reliable, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access at all times.

3. Account Registration & Obligations

To use our full suite of tools, you must register for an account and complete a "Master Profile". You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and account access. You agree not to share your account credentials or allow third-party access to your account.

4. Subscriptions, Payments & Refunds

JobAssistAI operates on a subscription model alongside one-time add-on credit purchases.

• Billing: Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis via our secure payment processor.
• Changes to Fees: We reserve the right to modify the fees for subscriptions upon reasonable prior notice, which will not take effect until the start of your next billing cycle.
• Cancellations: You may cancel your subscription at any time via your dashboard. Cancellation prevents future billing, but we do not provide refunds or credits for partially used billing periods unless required by UK consumer law.

5. AI Services & Output Ownership

AI Resume Builder: Utilizes your Master Profile and an optional Job Description to tailor your professional history. You retain all ownership rights to the raw data you supply, while granting us a license to process it through our third-party AI services solely to deliver your document.

AI Cover Letter Service: Our Chrome Extension reads job descriptions from supported platforms to generate draft documents. We do not guarantee the structural perfection or factual accuracy of these AI generations ("hallucinations"). You are solely responsible for reviewing, fact-checking, and modifying the outputs before using them in a professional capacity.

6. Intellectual Property & Acceptable Use

License Grant: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use our Chrome extension and web platform for personal career advancement.

Prohibited Actions: You must not:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of our application or Chrome extension.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers on the platform.
• Generate fraudulent, defamatory, or illegal content using our AI tools.
• Introduce viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs, or other material which is malicious or technologically harmful to our services.

Trade Names: "JobAssistAI" is a trade name operated by Andrea Technology Solutions Ltd. The original content, features, layout, and functionality are protected by international copyright laws. Use without prior express written permission is strictly prohibited.

7. Links and Third-Party Services

Our Platform and Chrome Extension interact with third-party web sites or services (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed) that are not owned or controlled by us. We assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites. Furthermore, we are not liable if changes to third-party job boards temporarily or permanently disrupt the functionality of our Chrome extension.

8. Communications

By creating an account, you agree to receive transactional and promotional communications from us, sent via our email provider, Brevo. You may opt out of promotional emails at any time, but transactional emails (such as billing receipts and security alerts) are mandatory for active accounts.

9. Data Protection & Security

We deploy industry-standard security measures, including encrypted connections and secure data handling processes aligned with UK/EU GDPR requirements.

Losses resulting from unauthorized access: While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We cannot accept liability for any losses you suffer as a result of unauthorized access to your data during data transmission over public networks. 10. Termination Rights

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Platform immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Platform or request a deletion via your dashboard.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance. We do not guarantee that using JobAssistAI will result in job interviews or employment offers.

12. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Andrea Technology Solutions Ltd, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Platform or the AI-generated content.

13. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide reasonable notice via email or a prominent notice on our website prior to any new terms taking effect.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
